Chai-Town WINS WILL-TV A Cappella BEATdown!

On March 8th, 2010, Chai-Town competed in the WILL-TV A Cappella BEATdown with renowned a cappella groups like the Girls Next Door, Rip Chords, Chandani, Blu Bop, Tone Rangers, Cut Time and Femme Forte. All the teams gave really great performances. Thanks to all of Chai-Town's supporters and fans out there who helped Chai-Town win the coveted A Cappella BEATdown trophy. This one is truly because of the fans and we cannot thank you enough! You support is what drives us!

Chai-Town WINS 2nd Place at Anahat 2009!

Chai town recently competed at the Annual Anahat Competition, which featured eight of the best a capella teams in the nation. We performed a set of three songs and came really close to beating winner USC Asli Baat. Chai-Town congratulates UCBerkeley Dil Se for placing third and also congratulates the remaining 5 teams for putting on a spectacular event! A BIG THANK YOU to all our supporters out there. Thank you for coming out and supporting us. It's your support that drives to give better and better performances!

Chai-Town WINS Campus-Wide Talent Show!

On October 30th, 2009, Chai-Town wins first place in a talent show in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which included other award winning groups like Dance 2XS, Girls Next Door A Cappella, Rip Chords A Cappella, 3 Spot Dance and many others.!

On April 13, 2009, Asian American Cultural Center of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign presented Chai-Town the Most Outstanding Asian American Organization Award in the University.
